Uncommon group lot of four official publications for the Apollo 13 mission: a stapled report entitled “Apollo 13—The Second ALSEP,” eight pages, no dated, prepared by the Bendix Aerospace Systems Division, with sections related to the Passive Seismic Experiment, the Lunar Atmosphere Experiment, the Charged Particle Lunar Environment Experiment, and the Heat Flow Experiment; an unbound official NASA press kit for “Project: Apollo 13,” approximately 40 pages (several missing), April 2, 1970, Release No. 70-50K; a stapled “Apollo 13 Press Kit” prepared by the Manned Spacecraft Recovery Force, Atlantic Task Force 140, Building SP-71 at the Naval Air Station in Norfolk, Virginia; and a stapled official NASA booklet entitled “Report of Apollo 13 Review Board,” approximately 200 pages, circa June 1970, with sections dedicated to Authorities, Board History and Procedures, description of Apollo 13 Space Vehicle and Mission, Review and Analysis of Apollo 13 Accident, and Findings, Determinations, and Recommendations. In overall fine condition, with some creasing and rusty staples; the press kit front cover features a missing upper left corner and some staining, and inner pages contain staple holes.
