Description

TLS, one page, 6 x 9.25, White House letterhead, April 13, 1934. Letter to "Mr. Grimes," in full: "I have gone over the applications for the homesteads and feel that it would be better to leave the decision to Mr. Pickett and Miss Davis, who know much more about these people and personally than I do, and I think Miss Davis would be a better person than Dr. Kraus, because she has been so familiar with the whole situation." In very good condition, with light toning, scattered stains, and mounting remnants to the lower portion.
