Letter to friend John Barlow (1799-1869), an Anglican cleric and Secretary of the Royal Institution of Great Britain, in full: "I hoped to have seen you this morning before I left for Brighton but have nothing particular to say. I have arrayed all in my department & expect to be at home at the end of next week." In fine condition, with a trimmed blank integral leaf.
