Description

TLS, one page, 8.25 x 11.25, Dokumentationszentrum letterhead, May 18, 1989. Letter to Robert J. Cohen, in part: "Every Day Remembrance Day can be bought in all bookstores in America; we only have one copy in the office, and we cannot give it away…The cover you describe in your letter was in my possession. I bought it from a well-known collector, Mr. Bojanovicz in England, for $400 in 1954. The cover was supposed to be unique. Now it turned out that it was a complete forgery; and that is a pity, for I was offered $25,000 for it in case that it is genuine." In fine condition.
