Description

Gorgeous custom-made white-bodied Stratocaster-style electric guitar with gold hardware, personally assembled by rock legend Joe Walsh, who played the guitar on stage at The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles, a television program that aired on CBS on February 9, 2014. The stunning guitar is signed on the pickguard in black felt tip by Walsh. In fine condition. Includes a Fender hardshell carrying case.

Walsh was one of several notable musicians who performed on The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles, a star-studded television tribute commemorating the legacy of the band, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of their first performance on The Ed Sullivan Show. Walsh was joined on stage by Jeff Lynne and Dhani Harrison for a moving rendition of the Abbey Road single ‘Something.’ Video from the performance, which shows Walsh playing the offered guitar, can be viewed below.

Accompanied by several photos of Walsh during the live performance, as well as a certificate of authenticity from Mark Reis, the guitar tech for Walsh and the Eagles, which states that the guitar was signed “in my presence on Wednesday, March 6th 2019 at the Rod Laver Arena, in Melbourne, Australia…during the Eagles World Tour of 2019. This custom white with gold hardware Stratocaster style electric guitar was personally assembled by Joe Walsh.” The certificate features a set of six affixed guitar picks and a sticker guest pass for the Eagles 2019 Tour, marked “JW” and dated to March 6th, Rod Laver Arena.
