A lanky lefty, McDermott joined the Yankees staff in 1956 for his only year in pinstripes. Like the first cards in vintage sets, last cards are also very difficult to find in high grades as they often saw heavy wear in the backs of shoe boxes or bound by rubber bands. With just six graded at this level by PSA, it is a rarity in the MINT 9 grade and none have been ranked higher. A tough last card with a pack-fresh appearance.
