Remembered for his pinpoint control and grace under pressure, Ford was the anchor of the great Yankees pitching staffs of the 1950s and 1960s. His 1956 season was one to remember, as he went 19-6, led the Majors in ERA (2.47), and took home his third of six World Series championships. With deep, vivid colors, excellent centering, and sharp edges and corners, this is a superior example of one of the top pitchers' cards in the '56 Topps set. None have been graded higher by PSA.
