Description

Standing out as one of the top cards in the 1956 set, this was Jackie Robinson’s last regular Topps issue—after a distinguished ten-year career in which he broke baseball’s color barrier, won accolades as Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player, and led the Brooklyn Dodgers to a World Series championship in 1955, Robinson decided to hang up his cleats at the end of the 1956 season. This classic card features an iconic portrait of Robinson smiling in his Brooklyn cap, juxtaposed against an exciting action shot of him sliding into home to score one for the Dodgers. Boasting vivid color and clarity, sharp corners, and clean edges, this PSA MINT 9 exemplar is remarkable in all respects. None have been graded higher by PSA.

Buyer's Premium is 20% on all 1956 Topps Cards.
