Two items: a TLS, one page, 5.25 x 8.5, personal letterhead, July 19, 1926, addressed to Anna Wicksell, a member of the Mandate Commission in Geneva Switzerland, in full: "This will present to you a notable woman of the United States, Mrs. William E. Towne of Holyoke, Massachusetts. I hope it will not be too much trouble to give her a little information about your work"; and a vintage sepia-tone 7.75 x 10.75 paperstock portrait of Carrie Chapman Catt, signed in fountain pen.
