French novelist (1840-1897) known for his controversial political and social views. Group lot of six ALSs in French, all untranslated, signed either "Alph. Daudet" or "Alphonse Daudet," each one page in length, each approximately 4 x 6, two dated 1879 and 1890, and the balance without date; one letter could possibly be a handwritten poem given its unusual form and title, "1856." In overall very good to fine condition, with small pieces of tape along the edge of one letter, and a clipping affixed to the bottom of another.
