Letter to a gentleman, in part: "Not knowing at what time this letter may reach you I shall only introduce Eugene Ney, a son to the illustrious and unfortunate Marechal of that name who after having gone through Canada and the U. S. intends also to visit Mexico. His elder brother, prince de la Moskowa, has lately married the daughter of my colleague and friend Lafitte…This young gentleman travels for curiosity and improvement." In fine condition, with light toning and creasing.
