"Mrs. Roush and I were in Cooperstown for July 23rd from there to New York for Yankee Old Timer Day"

Five items signed by Roush, including an autograph letter signed, "Edd J. Roush," one page, 8.5 x 10.75, August 19, 1962, in part: "Thank you for the congratulations sorry I am late about answering Mrs. Roush and I were in Cooperstown for July 23rd from there to New York for Yankee Old Timer Day…then to Cincinnati for Aug 1st as they put 3 fellows in the hall of fame there in Cincinnati. We leave Wed. for Cleveland as they are having a celebration for Bob Feller Friday night"; a glossy 3.25 x 5.5 postcard photo, signed in blue ballpoint; two gold HOF card signed in felt tip and a Perez-Steele card signed in blue felt tip. In very good to fine condition, with staple holes, toning, and edge tears to the letter, and a smudge to one of the plaque signatures. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the letter, addressed in Roush's hand and incorporating his name in the return address area.
