Two items: a vintage glossy 3.5 x 5 full-length photo of Crawford in his Detroit Tigers uniform with his bat on his shoulder, signed and inscribed in white ink. "To The Browne's, All good wishes, Wahoo Sam Crawford"; and an autograph letter signed "Wahoo Sam Crawford," one page, 6.5 x 10, October 31, 1957, in full: "In answer to your letter regarding a picture, this is all I can do in the way of a photo. Hope this will do." In very good to fine condition, with light irregular toning to the letter, and paperclip impressions to the top edge of the photo. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Crawford's hand and incorporating his name, "S. E. Crawford," in the return address area.
