Group lot of 10 commemorative covers with stamped or affixed cachets honoring the successful recovery and launch operations of Apollo missions 6 through 15, ranging in size from 6.5 x 3.75 to 9.5 x 4, with only the Apollo 8 cover not postmarked on a recovery ship. In overall fine condition. From the personal collection of Paul Kruppenbacher, a member of the NASA Houston Landing and Recovery Division who trained Apollo astronauts in water recovery procedures and was deployed on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers for crew and spacecraft recovery operations.
