Sought-after full set of three color first editions of the Apollo 11 Earth Orbit Chart, comprised of sheets 1, 2, and 3, each 41.5 x 13.5, dated June 19, 1969, displaying the various tracks and symbols for the Apollo spacecraft, as well as translunar injection burn initiation and termination, and various points of command capability. Lithographed by ACIC 6-69, and prepared under the direction of the Department of Defense by the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center. Rolled and in overall fine condition, with multiple vertical folds. From the personal collection of Paul Kruppenbacher, a member of the NASA Houston Landing and Recovery Division who trained Apollo astronauts in water recovery procedures and was deployed on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers for crew and spacecraft recovery operations.
