Collection of 91 vintage color 4 x 5 positive transparencies, almost all associated with the Apollo 13 mission, documenting various aspects of training, take off, recovery, and celebration. Most are annotated in type or felt tip with official NASA numbers (e.g. 108-KSC-70PC-25-A-13 and 70HC-462). Particularly notable images include the Apollo 13 insignia, the Saturn V on the launchpad, shots of the moon and Earth taken during the voyage, the Apollo 13 crew with President Richard Nixon, the Apollo 13 CM Odyssey floating in the South Pacific after splashdown, and the recovery by the USS Iwo Jima.
