Colonial Pennsylvania engraved bank note for "Two Shillings," signed "John Morton," 3.25 x 2.75, issued as No. 30261, reading: "According to an Act of General Assembly of Pennsylvania, passed in the Twelfth Year of the Reign of His Majesty George the Third. Dated the 3d Day of April. Anno Domini 1772." Signed at the conclusion by John Morton, John Sellers, and Ira Humphrey. Printed in Philadelphia by David Hall and William Sellers, with reverse bearing the cautionary message: "To Counterfeit is Death."
