Description

"The picture is highly moral and should be shown to millions of young men—they would run away from drugs after seeing it!"

ALS signed “Rene,” one page both sides, 5.25 x 8.25, personal letterhead, November 16, 1970. Letter to director George Cukor, in part: "Hope you are back home with a good souvenir of Paris. We were delighted to see you and to meet so many friends of yours at your lovely party. And lots of thanks for the car which saved our lives on that rainy evening. We just come back from the 'sexy' picture you told us about. Claudette went with us. As a matter of fact the film is more about drugs than about sex. May I confess that we were a little bored after the first, surprised? I think the picture is highly moral and should be shown to millions of young men—they would run away from drugs after seeing it!" In fine condition, with a faint paperclip impression to the top edge.
