King George appoints a captain to the Irish Brigade

Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “George R.,” one page, 15.75 x 12, October 1, 1794. King George appoints "James Tobin…to be Captain of a Company in Anthony Count Walsh de Serrant's Regiment of Foot forming part of the Corps known by the name of the Irish Brigade." Signed in the upper left corner by King George III, with original white and blue paper seals affixed below. In very good to fine condition, with some light staining to the top and bottom.
