Partly-printed vellum DS in French, signed “Charles,” one page, 17.5 x 14.5, February 16, 1826. A Royal Order of the Legion of Honor, (translated) which wishes "to give proof of our royal satisfaction to M. Pochier (Jean-Baptiste), born on January 1st, 1787, in Oudenarde (Holland); Sergeant in the 18th Regiment of the Infantry of the League; for the services that he has rendered to ourselves and the State. We have named and do name him Knight of the Royal Order of the Legion of Honor." Signed at the conclusion by King Charles X. In fine condition, with light creasing to the top edge.
