Description

Businessman and uncle to Walt and Roy Disney (1861-1953) who served as a benefactor for the first short film produced by Walt Disney Studios. Partly-printed DS, signed “Robert S. Disney,” one page, 11 x 8.25, September 30, 1903. Handsomely engraved stock certificate for 2000 shares in The Dahlonega Gold Mining and Milling Company, Inc., issued to Nellie Bunnell. Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Disney as president. In fine condition, with two vertical folds. A decidedly uncommon signature from an influential member of the Disney family.
