Terrific original sketch of fictional cowboy hero Hopalong Cassidy, accomplished by artist Pat Arnold in artist pencil and pastel on a beige 9 x 12 sheet, signed and inscribed in fountain pen by William Boyd, "To Pat, Good luck, Hoppy." The sketch is also signed by the artist. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing to the corners, and a diagonal crease which passes across Hoppy's face.
