The front features black raised lettering in Portuguese (translated), “Official Draw of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil, [facsimile signature of Sepp Blatter], FIFA President, Sao Paulo, 1.12.2012,” encircled with text in relief: “Federation Internationale de Football Association”; and the reverse features bold raised text of the football organization. Includes the official blue cloth presentation case. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Alexandre Silva da Silveira, a coordinator for the Brazil National Soccer Team, who affirms that the medal derives from his personal collection. The draw for the competition was held at the Palácio das Convenções in the Anhembi Convention Center in São Paulo, Brazil, on December 1, 2012, with the eight teams divided into Groups A and B; Brazil and Spain won their respective groups, with the host nation ultimately defeating Spain in the tourney final, 3-0.
