Description

Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “George R.,” one page, 13.5 x 9.25, April 7, 1804. King George appoints "Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Walker…to be Inspecting Field Officer of Gentlemen Yeomanry & Volunteer Corps." Signed in the upper left corner by King George III, with original white and blue paper seals affixed below. In very good to fine condition, with light soiling, and some wrinkling to the upper right corner.
