(Walt Disney Studios, 1958) Original painting by Eyvind Earle featuring a detailed tree branch and forest critters from Sleeping Beauty, used as an illustration on pages 176-177 of the 1958 book The Art of Animation by Bob Thomas. Accomplished in tempera on 17.25 x 13.5 artist's board, with a celluloid overlay featuring the book's text and two images of Eyvind Earle's backgrounds from the iconic Disney film. In fine condition. A superior, published painting by one of Disney's great artists.
