ALS signed “Mary R,” three pages both sides, 4.5 x 6, personal letterhead, February 21, 1929. Letter to Lady Oxford, written from Craigweil House near Bognor, in part: "The King has asked me to write & thank you for your very kind letter which has touched him deeply. You will be glad to hear that the air of Bognor agrees with him very well & that he feels all the better for the change to this place. We like the house which is perfect for the purpose & the King is much pleased with his large room as he is able to sit in the big windows in the sun when it shines!" In fine condition. Accompanied by a postcard photo of Mary of Teck with King George V at Craigweil House.
