Swedish operatic soprano (1843-1921) who was considered a rival to the Victorian era's most famous diva, Adelina Patti. Nilsson became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in 1869. Rare ALS in French, four pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.25 x 7, September 29, no year. An untranslated letter written from Stockholm. In fine condition, with some small stains to the last page.
