Redfield, in full: "I have your letter of March thirtieth conveying at the request of the Superintendent of the Coast and Geodetic Survey a tender of the services of the hydrographic and topographic draftsmen of that service, and also of the geodetic, tidal and magnetic computers of that service. I need not tell you how warmly and highly this tender is appreciated. I will take pleasure in bringing it to the attention of the Secretaries of War and Navy." In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, two extra horizontal folds, and two file holes to the left edge.
