Letter to Ben Oehlert, in part: "Your thoughtfulness regarding the death of our pet, Little Beagle, is deeply appreciated. He certainly considered himself as a part of the Johnson family, and I guess we agreed that he was." In fine condition.

Johnson to become Ambassador to Pakistan in 1967, a post he held until his retirement in 1969.
