Impressive plaster plaque commemorating the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy, 12.25″ in diameter and 1″ thick, featuring a raised presidential seal, the words "Inaugurated President, January 20, 1961," and a passage from his inaugural speech, "We shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival of liberty." In very good to fine condition, with a few chips to edges of the golden paint. Provenance: from the estate of General Chester V. Clifton, military aide to JFK.
