Kennan, signed at the conclusion by Linus Pauling as a vice president of the organization, and countersigned by Owen J. Roberts, Waldo G. Leland, and three others. Framed and in fine condition. Kennan contributed significantly to American foreign policy during the Cold War, particularly in advocating for the policy of 'containment' of Soviet expansion.
