Signer of the US Constitution from Pennsylvania (1744-1800) and first governor of that state. Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “Tho. Mifflin,” one page, 23.5 x 13.25, July 2, 1794. Governor Mifflin grants John Wolf a parcel "containing five acres of lands." Signed in the upper left corner by Governor Mifflin, and countersigned at the conclusion by Alexander J. Dallas as secretary. The white paper seal affixed to the upper left remains intact. Framed and in very good to fine condition, with creasing, wrinkling, and toning to the lower half of the document.
