Manuscript DS, signed “George R.,” one page, 7.75 x 12.5, circa 1791. King George authorizes George Rose and Charles Henry Somerset to make "debentures complete for the Pay of Our 14th Regiment of Foot agreeably to the amount borne on the Establishment from 25th December 1791 to 24th December 1792, charging thereon the sum of Eleven thousand, eight hundred ninety three pounds, five shillings, & eleven pence, being the amount of the Charges allowed in the state herewith annexed, certified by Our Secretary at War." Signed prominently in the upper left corner by the king. Cloth-matted and framed with a portrait and plaque to an overall size of 26 x 22.5. In very good to fine condition, with multiple vertical folds.
