A beautifully matted and framed photograph originally owned by White House secretary Mary Durkin. According to this letter from Dec. 18, 1962 attached to the back of this frame signed by Letitia Baldrige, Social Secretary says that this scene was used on the President and Mrs. Kennedy's official Christmas card from 1962 and was also to have been distributed at the same time as the staff Christmas picture of the Red Room but apparently was not, so Mrs. Kennedy was now instructing Ms. Baldrige to offer this classic image to White House Staff. The photograph features a beautiful image of "Macaroni" (Caroline's horse) pulling the sleigh across the South Lawn driven by Mrs. Kennedy, with Caroline and John sitting next to her.
One of the best color photographic portraits of Jacqueline Kennedy taken circa 1961-62. Boldly signed by the famous photographer Jacques Lowe on Aug. 5, 1998 who took this picture. Tragically all of Jacques Lowe's negatives were destroyed on 9/11/2001 when the Twin Towers were destroyed along with Lowe's negatives that were kept there for safe keeping.
Jacqueline Kennedy's ballet program signed by French President Charles De Gaulle on the inside cover from June 1, 1961, when President Kennedy and Jacqueline were guests of the De Gaulle's at a formal dinner in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles. The Kennedys were entertained by a gala ballet performance at the Louis 15 Theatre in the Palace of Versailles. A beautiful hand-crafted program on special paper for the nights performances. Unique and ex. Robert White sale. The 11-page itinerary for the Kennedy's visit to France in 1961 accompanies this artifact.

Commissioned by the Kennedys in 1961 to produce the official White House Christmas card. Hallmark President Joyce C. Hall took several photographs of the north lawn with it's beautiful circular pool and water fountain; although this version was ultimately not used for the card, the Kennedys presented mounted copies of this photo as VIP gifts.
