Prince's concert-used dark purple double-row tambourine with a 10″ open head, bearing a printed "Love God" label on the handle in the style of Prince's handwriting, thrown from the stage during one of his March 1985 shows at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California, during the Purple Rain Tour. In fine condition, with light expected wear from use. Accompanied by a letter of provenance, in part: "In March of 1985 my sister and I were invited to attend the 'Purple Rain' concert held by the entertainer Prince at the Long Beach Arena, Long Beach, California. We were seated with other friends near the front row of the special seating area. During the concert Prince tossed this tambourine into the audience and my amazed and thrilled sister happened to catch it." Also includes a modern print of a photograph of Prince playing in Long Beach during the Purple Rain Tour.
