Astrophysicist (1910-1995) who, with William A. Fowler, won the 1983 Nobel Prize for Physics for key discoveries that led to the currently accepted theory on the later evolutionary stages of massive stars. Semi-glossy 3.5 x 5 cardstock photo of Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar in a close-up pose, signed in the lower border in ink, "S. Chandrasekhar." In very fine condition.
