American theoretical physicist (1918-1988) whose work in quantum electrodynamics earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1965; he is often credited for introducing the concept of nanotechnology. Sought-after ballpoint signature, "Richard P. Feynman,” with one of his famous 'Feynman diagrams' below, on an off-white 5.75 x 4 card. In very good to fine condition, with creasing to the left side. Feynman diagrams, named after their inventor, are pictorial representations of the mathematical expressions describing the behavior of subatomic particles. A superb example of a decidedly scarce autograph.
