Vintage ballpoint signatures, "Jimi Hendrix," with added heart and inscription, "Love to you, Eilleen," and "Noel Redding," on the reverse of a Family Dog postcard promoting a series of three Grateful Dead concerts at San Francisco's Avalon Ballroom on October 11-13, 1968. In very good condition, with moderately heavy creasing, a tiny chip to the bottom edge, and a pencil notation to the left side. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services. Consignor notes that these signatures were obtained at the Avalon on the night of October 13, 1968, the evening of the concert where the Grateful Dead, displeased that Hendrix blew them off for an agreed upon jam session the night before, let the Experience frontman wait at the side of the Avalon stage for a 'make-up' jam that would never occur.
