Neil Armstrong's personal copy of Russian for Beginners, softcover, published by Barnes & Noble in 1969, signed and inscribed to Armstrong on the title page in black ballpoint, "To Professor Neil A. Armstrong, with best wishes for your success in Russian or [Cyrillic characters]! John P. Pauls, University of Cincinnati, Feb. 2, 1972." The book is wrapped in a custom brown paper bag dust jacket, with spine marked "RFB, 1969," and front cover featuring a personal monogram for Neil Armstrong, with lower left dated "Feb. 2, 1972." In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from The Armstrong Family Collection, signed by Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
