American theater and film producer (1909-1958) best known for his Oscar-winning 1956 production of Around the World in 80 Days. He was the third husband of Elizabeth Taylor and the driving force behind the development of the eponymous Todd-AO widescreen film format. Four original vintage semi-glossy silver gelatin photos taken by Magnum photographer David Seymour, 11.75 x 9.5 to 7.75 x 11.75, showing Mike Todd with a Todd-AO camera, lighting a cigar, sitting on a couch, and greeting Noel Coward. All bear David Seymour/Magnum credit stamps on the reverse. In overall fine condition.
