Letter to the painter Pelagio Palagi, in part (translated): "I would need to talk with you today about the fellowships of our young pupils. If you could favor me...whenever you like I would be happy to see you and to think together because from what it is told to me it seems that it is needed to have a powwow...Please excuse me for the bother and I repeat to you the senses of my true esteem." In fine condition. At this time Canova was director of Royal Academy of Italy in Rome, and Palagi was inspector of the same.
