TLS, one page, 8 x 10, Clarence Gate letterhead, March 12, 1925. Letter to Newman Flower, in part: "I have got an arrangement which takes me over two or three years with Hodder & Stoughton, and I am very strict on one point, that is, keeping faith with the publishers, even though I have no actual agreement that I shall not publish elsewhere. I have already made a mess of my books by my carelessness in this respect." In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, and pin holes to the upper left corner.
