Two items: a glossy 8 x 9.75 photo of Bush outside the office of the United Nations, signed and inscribed in the lower border in black felt tip, "May '75, To David Friedman—Though this picture was taken at US-UN, please accept greetings from USLO, Peking, PRC, George Bush, chief"; and an ANS on a 6.25 x 4.25 stationery card from the United States Liaison Office in Beijing, China, May 13, 1975, in full: "Dear Mr. Friedman, Hope this does the job. Sincerely, George Bush." The note is affixed to a slightly larger mount. In very good to fine condition, with the photo having a trimmed top edge, central horizontal bend, and small hole to Bush's forehead; the letter is fine.
