DS, signed “George R,” one page both sides, 8.25 x 12.75, February 9, 1770. Receipt for services of two Privy Chancellery Secretaries, Johann Friedrich Mejer (1705-1769) and Wilhelm Philipp Best (1712-1785), signed at the conclusion by King George III. The embossed paper seal affixed at the bottom remains fully intact. In very good to fine condition, with edge toning to the first page, and a short split to horizontal fold.
