Description

ALS, one page, 5 x 8, New-York Tribune letterhead, June 24, 1872. Letter to "Friend Parmelee," in full: "My invalid wife and sick (but improving) daughter absorb much of my time. I have to get my wife out to our place on Tuesday. I shall be in town on Thursday, and may be found at Lincoln Club, 20 East 21st St., after noon. If you should not be down then, I think you may find me at the same place on Sunday or on Monday following." In fine condition.
