Description

The girl who inspired the nursery rhyme 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' after she brought her pet lamb to school one day. Vintage ink signature, "Mary E. Tyler, Somerville, Mass., Oct. 10-1888,” on an off-white 3 x 2 card. Double-matted and framed with a color photo and a mailing envelope, addressed in her own hand, to an overall size of 15.5 x 12.75. In fine condition.
