Description

Scarce team-signed oversized 1962 Yankees photo, highlighted by Mantle, Maris, Berra, and Ford

Vintage matte-finish 14 x 11 photo of the 1962 New York Yankees team, signed in the lower border in black ballpoint by 31 members of the World Series-winning team, including: Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Elston Howard, Luis Arroyo, Tom Tresh, Phil Linz, Bill 'Moose' Skowron, Frank Crosetti, Jim Hegan, Bud Daley, Hector Lopez, Tex Clevenger, John Blanchard, Bobby Richardson, Jim Coates, Tony Kubek, Dale Long, Spud Murray (batting practice pitcher), Joe Soares (trainer), Jack Reed, Marshall Bridges, Ralph Terry, Fred Bengis (bat boy), Bill Stafford, Don Seger (trainer), Wally Moses, John Sain, Clete Boyer, and Rollie Sheldon. In very good condition, with heavy overall creasing, several edge tears (one passing through Berra's image is repaired with tape on the reverse), loss to the upper right corner, and poor contrast to Maris's signature. These oversized team-signed photos were only distributed to players and team personnel, and are therefore quite scarce and highly sought-after. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and Beckett Authentication.
