Description

One of the famed Ringling brothers (1866-1936) who merged the Barnum & Bailey Circus with their own Ringling Bros. World's Greatest Shows to create a virtual monopoly of traveling circuses. TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, December 19, 1932. Letter to George A. Zabriskie, in part: "Have just received with your compliments beautiful volume 'Old Christmas.' It is beautifully gotten up and I assure you I appreciate having it, also the remembrance that prompted you to send it. Mrs. Ringling and I both send heartiest holiday greetings and best wishes for the good health and happiness of Mrs. Zabriskie and yourself throughout the New Year." In fine condition.
