Group lot of 10 vintage original NASA photographs of Aurora 7 astronaut Scott Carpenter, each glossy finished, ranging in size from 10 x 8 to 8.5 x 10, with seven photos of the 'numbered' variety and four bearing NASA caption text on reverse. Images include (contains duplicates): Carpenter standing in his Mercury space suit and holding his portable ventilation unit (3); Carpenter in informal attire posing in front of the NASA sign (3); a close-up portrait of Carpenter with Mercury pin on his lapel; Carpenter in his space suit and surrounded by McDonnell technicians; and two images of Carpenter following his oceanic recovery on May 24, 1962.
