Group lot of nine vintage original NASA photographs, each glossy finished, 4 x 5 and 5 x 4, each showing Apollo 10 astronaut Gene Cernan posing with a stuffed Snoopy doll next to the Lunar Module simulator. In overall fine condition. The connection between the Apollo program and the Peanuts comic strip is well documented. The call signs for the Apollo 10 spacecraft were the names of characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy, the semi-official mascots of the famed 'dress rehearsal' Apollo mission, and Peanuts creator Charles Schulz also drew some mission-related artwork for NASA.
